When did MOSEY begin?

Established in 1986 as Team Mosey, what began as a series of outings that included backpacking, rock climbing, bicycle touring and other outdoor pursuits with friends, students, and youth from churches grew into a business when the MOSEY Outdoor Adventure Society was incorporated in 1994.

In January of 1995, the Challenge Course was built .  Since then over ten thousand individuals have experienced challenge-based opportunities, embraced fun, and set goals to be excellent. MOSEY programs at the 80 acre rural prairie site as well and around the country with the On Site Adventure can help you in your pursuit of excellence, too!

3GuRah - The MOSEY-Bunga Principles

Moment by moment our choices express and determine who we are.  A MOSEY Attitude abides in you as you recognize and rejoice in the immeasurable value of each person each moment and live out these core principles:

Gu - "Get Up"   -> resolve not to be a sloth, sluggard, or lazy man
                     -> identify each day's necessities and do them
                     -> in joyful expectation and anticipation proceed!

Gu - "Grow Up" -> identify "childish" habits and put them away
                     -> keep "child-like" faith intact
                     -> find quality mentors and learn

Gu - "Give Up"  -> recognize "whatever" you can never control
                     -> let go of your efforts to control "whatever"
                     -> focus your energy / efforts on choices you can make

Rah - "Rejoice"  -> celebrate the wonder of existence
                     -> embrace each opportunity to contribute yourself
                     -> live life thankfully, purely, and in abundant love
